Tent membranes from the VALMEX® tent product range are available in translucent and opaque versions. Large-scale tents are generally white, although colourful tents can add unique highlights, depending on the type of event. Tent membranes are available in pastel or vibrant colours and in duo-opaque, with different, rich colours on each side. We have developed membranes with a black base fabric, or with the entire back coated in black, for tents that should not permit any external light. VALMEX® FR 700 stripes is available specifically for marquees and festival tents. The coloured stripes are part of the coating. This makes the fabric resistant against mechanical influences, bleaching or grey discolouration, and the intense colour is retained longer. The fabric width of 261 cm is designed for use in standard side walls. Tent windows can be produced using the clear material POLYMAR® cristal. This material is available in different weights and versions. Low & Bonar offers a robust duo-opaque material with different, vibrant colours on each side for circus tents and other temporary structures.

Varnishing both sides of the membrane surface with PVDF or acrylic ensures good weather and UV resistance, protects against soiling and makes it easier to clean the tent fabric. The materials are equipped with a fungicide treatment, UV resistant, and easy to process. Wide material can be assembled with only a few seams. Good tear resistance at a relatively low weight ensures quick set-up and take-down. VALMEX®-tent membranes are fire retardant. All material components of VALMEX® and POLYMAR® products conform to EU REACH guidelines. The manufacturing process is ISO 9001 and ISO 50001 certified for energy management. Recycling of the membranes and collaboration with VINYL plus are part of the MEHLER eco-care program.
